Future Border and Immigration System

Friday 17th May 2019

On the 19 December 2018, the Government published a White Paper setting out its proposals for the United Kingdom’s future skills-based immigration system after our exit from the European Union – available here. The paper sets out the framework for the future system – the department of EU Exit Immigration is now in the process of engaging with a range of stakeholders on developing some of the policy detail. The Home Office is currently delivering this engagement programme across all parts of the UK.

Cazenove has kindly agreed to host a roundtable at 10am at their offices on Charlotte Square on the 17th May to allow the department of EU Exit Immigration to engage with a broad range of stakeholders. A senior Home Office official will attend to provide an overview of their proposals before facilitating a structured discussion on key aspects of the White Paper that the audience wish to raise with the Government to inform the shape of the future immigration system.
