InSPIREmed Grand Challenge End User Consultation Workshop
Wednesday 25th November 2026
The InSPIREmed project – Integrated Spectroscopy and Photonics for Increased Productivity and Resource Efficiency in Medicines Manufacture – is a major UK initiative aimed at redefining how modern pharmaceuticals are developed and manufactured. Funded through the Innovate UK Sustainable Medicines Manufacturing Programme (SMMIP), the project brings together a 16-partner consortium of photonics, data science, research organisations and pharma companies to develop a new generation of high-performance, integrated photonic Process Analytical Technology (PAT) systems. The consortium includes Scottish start-up Dyneval bringing new capability to measure particle size at process relevant concentrations.
On Wednesday 25 November (9 am to 5 pm), the consortium is holding an end-user workshop in Glasgow to hear directly from pharma manufacturing teams about the challenges they face. Registration is free. You can find the details here: inSPIREmed workshop details and registration.
